New Delhi, Feb. 23: Mahesh Bhatt has revealed that he is ecstatic and feels proud of Alia Bhatt after watching her performance in ‘Highway’.
The 65-year-old director said, “Imtiaz has made a great film, it’s a strong and path breaking film. Apart from that the performances given by Randeep Hooda and Alia have already shocked all of us. It’s just the second day and the response has been so over whelming. So for a father there can be nothing better than to see his child achieves such a position in just second film at such young age. So this is a very proud and happy moment for me.”
Speaking on the occasion, the ‘Student of the Year’ star said, “It’s just the second day and I won’t speak so soon but whatever response I have got till now has been very overwhelming and I am very grateful”.
‘ Highway’ revolves around two characters from diverse backgrounds, portrayed by the 37-year-old actor and Alia Bhatt, who take a road trip in a truck and explores the psychological and spiritual side of the characters during their testing times.
