Bangalore 12 May, 2014: On Wednesday 7th May 2014, Indiabulls Housing Finance Ltd. defeated Amber Technologies to win the esteemed BLE champions trophy in the corporate cricket circuit.
The tournament which began on 23rd February 2014, concluded on 7th May 2014 when IBHFL, chasing 124 to win their final game, secured victory by notching up 127 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 16.4 overs. Batting first Amber technologies had set a target of 124 runs all out in the allotted 20 overs. Chethan S, with his 54 runs and 2 wickets was declared the Man of the Match.
The winning team received the BLE Champions Trophy, while all other players each received a medal to reward their impressive performances.
Mr. Vishwas Shetty (Zonal Sales Head & Team Captain) said: “The tournament was a fantastic success. We had good weather, excellent cricket and a team who played the game in a great spirit. It was very pleasing to see IBHFL win the tournament for the first time since the team formation in 2012 and I look forward to seeing the boys defend the title in 2014.”
