Bangalore, May 15: BHEL, Electronics Division, SC/ST Uplift union celebrated the 123rd birth anniversary of the Architect of the Constitution, Bharath Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar here on Thursday. The event was inaugurated by Shri V. Srinivasa Prasad, Honorable revenue Minister, Govt. of Karnataka.
The function celebrated the birth anniversary of the Bharath Ratna. the works, achievements and contribution of the eminent scholar were remembered and appreciated. His life and work have been role model to the public, especially the younger generation and they have to follow his footsteps to achieve success and fame in the life.
On this occasion, various achievers were felicitated. President of Karnataka Pranta Raitha Sangha Shri. Maruti Manpade and Executive Director of BHEL-EDN, Shri. K. C. Ramamurthy were the dignitaries honored.
The occasion was graced by Shri. M Krishnappa, MLA, Shri. Y S V Datta, MLA, and Chief monk of Lokaratna Buddha Vihara, Spoorthidhama, Ven’ble Vinayarakkhita Thera.
