Malihabad (Uttar Pradesh), May 24: A celebrated expert in mango cultivation, Padma Haji Kalimullah Khan has dedicated a new variety of the fruit to Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi, naming it ” NaMo Aam”

He said it is a gift that would be remembered by the name of Modi.

Khan also hoped to meet country’s next prime minister to present the new variety of the fruit as a mark of honour.

“His talking style and the way he presents himself to the public is very unique and I have not seen anybody having such a style and personality. Even this mango has these unique qualities. The mangoes are soft, sweet and it is a delicacy. It is a cross-breed of two mango varieties and has the qualities of Modi. The “NaMo” mango will remain even when we are gone and will remind people of Narendra Modi and his success,” said Khan.

The alliance led by Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 336 of the 543 seats in the Lok Sabha, making it the first time in a quarter of a century that the country will not be led by a coalition government. Modi is set to take oath of office as prime minister on May 26.
