Jodhpur: Pakistani national residing in India raped his own daughter for months, strangulated her in a closet after her pregnancy was confirmed. The incident took place on 29 May. Police arrested the accused by the complaint filed by the uncle of the deceased. The police took the possession of the dead body of the juvenile.
According to CI Annrajsingh Rajpurohit Gulbahar (brother of the accused), who lives in Sanghar, Pakistan told SP Jodhpur Tuesday that his brother Rajesh alias Bashir used to rape his daughter (14 years). He killed his daughter after her pregnancy surfaced. Rajesh practiced as a fake doctor.
He added that his niece narrated her father`s wrongdoing over phone and asked for help. Gulbahar came down to Rajasthan and made an effort to explain his brother. But he didn`t listen. The deceased started living with her uncle in a makeshift tent close to the family. A post-mortem will be conducted by the medical board on Wednesday.
On 29 May Rajesh visited his brother`s tent and strangulated his daughter till death while she was asleep. Later he buried her in a closet at his place. After the incident, Rajesh threatened to kill his brother if he spoke about the incident to anyone. Scared by the threat Gulbahar fled to Delhi. The police arrested the accused on Tuesday and confessed his crime during custodial interrogation.
Gulbahar told the police that he along with his parents and niece came to India in 2010. Rajesh had shifted to Rajasthan one and a half years ago with his wife with their children.
