Jaipur: Normally we hear the news that miscreants misbehave and sexually abuse women in public but onlookers don’t dare to interfere. But in this case, mob resorted to street justice and managed to teach a policeman a lesson. Constable Khemchand allegedly misbehaved with a lady doctor near Ajmer Road around 10 am when she was going to the hospital with her husband on a motorbike. When the lady doctor’s husband objected to police constable Khemchand’s behaviour, the cop took offence. He started abusing and beating lady doctor’s husband.
Meanwhile, many people gathered there. When they came to know that policeman misbehaved with the lady-doctor, they started thrashing the policeman and ripped his clothes off. This continued for quite some time. Traffic constable posted near-by tried to protect the cop, but people did not allow him to come close. After some time, PCR van reached the spot, but angry crowed pelted stones on the van and smashed the window panes.
Later, some people took the injured constable to Sodhala police station. Lady doctors has registered a case against the constable.
