Twitter celebrates Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly’s 42nd birthday

It’s former Indian cricket captain Saurav Ganguly 42nd birthday, and the player, fondly known as Dada, received bundle of wishes by his fans and co-players.

Former co-player Anil Kumble took to Twitter to write, “Happy birthday dada have a great year ahead! God bless!”, while official handle of BCCI shared some remarkable picture of the player’s cricket journey and as they wished him.

Ganguly had announced his retirement seven years ago, but still resided in the hearts of people as one of the charismatic cricketers of Indian team, who took off his shirt in the finale of the 2002 NatWest series.

The Bengal cricket player, who is currently an Indian cricket advisor, captained India to 21 Test wins between 2000 and 2005.

Currently, Saurav Ganguly is the 5th highest run scorer in One Day Internationals (ODIs).
