Australia wicketkeeper batsman Brad Haddin has announced his retirement from international cricket in the wake of Ashes series defeat against England.
The 37-year-old veteran batsman, who has also retired from first-class cricket, followed the footsteps of Michael Clarke, Shane Watson and Chris Rogers in stepping down.
Haddin said that he had thoroughly enjoyed 17 years and was perfectly comfortable with the decision to call time on his career.
Haddin played under the shadow of Adam Gilchrist and had to wait until the age of 30 to make his Test debut. He has scored 3,266 runs at an average of 32.98
Earlier this year, he had announced his retirement from one-day internationals after helping his side win their fifth World Cup in March.
