Sack Bharti; Harshavardhan requests LG

New Delhi, Jan.29: Leading a delegation Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Harsh Vardhan on Wednesday met Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and demanded the suspension of Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti.

“We have requested him to sack Law Minister Somnath Bharti for his immoral behavior and for insulting the constitutional bodies. He should be suspended immediately,” Harsh Vardhan told media here today.

“Our leaders have apprised him about various incidents where AAP workers are insulting people working in schools, hospitals and government offices using abusive language.

“He has assured us that a probe is being going on him (Bharti) and it will be completed in next few weeks. But such person should not continue as the Law Minister of Delhi,” he added.

Bharti and his supporters have been accused of illegally detaining Ugandan women and forcing them to undergo medical tests.

Bharati , however, has alleged that a sex trade and drug-peddling racket was flourishing in the locality with the help of foreign nationals.

He had demanded that the police should take action against the offenders.
