FIAT India’s association with Jaipur foot as a part of CSR activities

FIAT Group Automobiles India Pvt. Ltd today announced its “association with Jaipur Foot” to support the cause of artificial limbs for differently abled people. FIAT India has pledged to support Jaipur Foot by sponsoring limbs to mobilise the life of the needy and the association is in accordance to the milestone achievement of 100 dealerships. With this caring gesture FIAT India is aiming for big difference in mobilising lives of these individuals, and this caring gesture is extended to its customers as well.

Commenting on this association Mr. Nagesh Basavanhalli, President and Managing Director of FIAT Chrysler India Operations said, “At FIAT India our constant endeavor is to provide world class technology which can add value to an individual’s life. Our association with Jaipur Foot is also on the same line of empowering differently abled people by providing artificial limbs.

FIAT India is extremely proud to have opened 100 dealerships within a span of one year. And to celebrate this moment we have decided to associate with Jaipur Foot. This initiative by FIAT India provides mobility.” FGAIPL is a fully owned subsidiary of Fiat Group Automobiles SpA, Italy. The company was incorporated in Mumbai, India, in March 2012 and will distribute FIAT and Jeep vehicles in the country through an independent dealer network. The company is currently selling the FIAT Linea and Punto models, which are manufactured by the Tata-Fiat joint venture.
