The Get Active Expo for the TCS World 10K Bangalore 2014 was inaugurated at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium on Friday, May 9, by Dr. N. Nagambika Devi, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Youth Empowerment and Sports Department. Also present on the occasion were Hitesh Sharma, COO, Radio Mirchi, Dilip Jayaram, CEO of Procam International, the promoters of the TCS World 10K Bangalore.
From May 9 to 11, the Get Active Expo is organised and marketed by Radio Mirchi Activations as a one-stop destination for enthusiasts of health, fitness and wellbeing to come together under one roof.
The Expo will be on between 11.00 am and 7.00 pm on all the three days and will also be the venue for all confirmed participants from Bengaluru and its suburbs to collect their running numbers along with the runner kits. Outstation runners can collect their numbers and kits on Saturday, May 17 between 11.00 am and 5.00 pm at the Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium.
For the first time, leading sports brands such as Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Puma, Asics and Proline have displayed a wide array of products for the benefit of participants. Apart from them, TCS, Perfomax, Narayana Health, Jungle Formula, Wildcraft, Fit Pro, Oakley, Borges, Dr. Lal Path Labs, Enerzal, Art of Living, Myntra and Mana projects will also be present.
The expo will give participants ample time to study in detail, race day instructions, familiarize themselves with security arrangements, traffic restrictions, road closures and other arrangements that will come into force on Race Day, May 18.
For the seventh edition of the event, Radio Mirchi and Procam International have upped the ante and created a festive ambience of all participants with a perfect combination of entertainment & information.

Charity bibs for the Majja Run at Rs. 1500 and Open 10K at Rs. 3000 are available with Bangalore Cares and at the Get Active Expo until numbers last. A slew of fresh initiatives have been planned to make the running experience on May 18 more memorable.

In addition to this, the Get Active Expo has also hosted fun activities for the participants like Football Juggling, Street Magic, Zumba Dance, Dhol Kunita, B-Boying and Beatboxing.
