Bhutan preparing to welcome Modi

Thimphu, Jun 10 Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to choose Bhutan for his first foreign visit has been hailed here as historic and authorities are leaving no stone unturned to welcome him to further cement the already strong bilateral ties.

The visit scheduled on June 15 to 16 will provide an opportunity to discuss bilateral issues and further strengthen Indo-Bhutan relations.

“We’re honoured to have him choose Bhutan as the first country he’s visiting after assuming office.
