Bangalore, 13 Sept 2014: “We are showcasing a new series of caricatures today. On display we have wildlife caricatures which show the life of different animals. This gives much fun to the visitors. This time 72 caricatures are on display” said Mr.Rohan Chrakravarty, Cartoonist while displaying his wildlife cartoon “Wildlife the Toonie way” exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated today (13.09.2014) in Indian Cartoon Gallery.
Mr. Rohan Chakravarty is a cartoonist and illustrator hailing from Nagpur. A memorable encounter with a beautiful tigress bathing in Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary waterhole led him to take up drawing for wildlife and conservation. He started his own website ‘Green Humour’, a series of cartoons and comics on wildlife. With more than 200 cartoons ‘Green Humour’ has already won laurels from many national and international organisations. He has also served as an animation designer and illustrator for a Bangalore based Multimedia firm for three years.
The exhibition will be open to public till 27th September 2014 at The Indian Cartoon Gallery, No 1, Midford Gardens, Behind Big Kids Kemp, Off MG Road, Bangalore- 1.
