Delhi, September 16, 2014: 92.7 BIG FM, India’s largest FM radio network, presents one of the foremost voices and torchbearer of the art of Ghazals – Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan for a very special evening of music revelry titled Ek Ehsaas. Started by Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan & Panache Media in Mumbai in 2012 in aid of Sangam NGO, the concert shows have travelled through Pune, Jaipur, Dubai & Singapore. EK Ehsaas now comes to Delhi this Friday, 19th September 2014 at the Siri Fort Auditorium.
The legendary Pakistani Ghazal singer, Ustad Ghulam Ali Khan of the Patiala gharana is known for his unique style and variations in singing as he effortlessly blends Hindustani Classical Music with Ghazals, unlike any other Ghazal singer of his era. With many of his hit Ghazals used in Bollywood movies, some of the memorable ones include Chupke Chupke Raat Din, Kal Chaudhvin Ki Raat Thi, Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa, Kiya Hai Pyar Jise, May Nazar Se Pee Rahahoon, Mastana Peeye, Ye Dil Ye Pagal Dil, Apni Dhoon Mein and many more.
Panache Media is Mumbai based company and specilises in events, movies and entertainment business. The major work is Ek Ehsaas under which various classical and ghazal concerts are organised to benefit various NGOs throughout the world. Highly popular in Pakistan, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, as well as amongst South Asian diaspora in the USA, the UK and the Middle Eastern countries, his recent album “Hasratein” was nominated in the Best Ghazal Album category at GIMA 2014.

Starting his career in 1960, Ghulam Ali along with singing ghazals also composes music for his bhajan and is also known to beautifully sing Punjabi songs as well. Though from Pakistan, Ghulam Ali remains as popular in India as in Pakistan.
