Ahmedabad, Feb.20: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Thursday said the Congress keeps looking for chances to kill him or beat him.

“The Congress does not like the fact that a tea seller is challenging and questioning such a big political empire. They keep looking for chances to kill me and beat me,” said Modi, while addressing a rally in Ahmedabad.

“But what can they do? Put a CBI enquiry on me or spread false rumors about me. They can do whatever they want to in the few days left of them being in power. If I do not get a chance in this lifetime, I will come again in the next life to serve the people,” he said.

He further said that the country had been in the worst state in the past ten years of Congress rule.

“The country has never been in such a bad state as it has been in since the past ten years. The Congress did not fulfill a single promise. The people now need intention and not false promises, and the BJP has come with an intention to fulfill the promises of the people,” Modi said.

“India is a young country and the youth forms a majority of the population. If the government would have thought of the youth’s development on time, then may be today the country would have been in a different state,” he said.

“For them the youth is just a voter, and for us the youth is not a voter, but the strength of the country. If we do not utilize the strength of the youth on time the country would not develop at all.
