Inaugurates Cardiac Care Camp by Udayabhanu Kala Sangha

Bangalore: Emphasising the need for inculcating discipline in life, Bangalore South MP & BJP National General Secretary Ananth Kumar was of the opinion that Indian society should move towards a “Green Lifestyle”, which was aimed at bridging the gap between people and nature to maintain a proper health.

“We have moved away from our traditional lifestyle because of the onset of modernization. Unfortunately, we have adopted the wrong lifestyle of modernization by forgetting what is good for us. This has led to proliferation of an unhealthy lifestyle, particularly among youths. It is time that we communed with nature appropriately so that we inculcate the appropriate values in life,” Ananth Kumar added.

Delivering his special address to the ‘Cardiac Care Camp’ organised by the Udayabhanu Kala Sangha in Bangalore on Sunday, Ananth Kumar lauded the efforts of the NGO in creating awareness about cardiac care among the masses. “There are plenty of disorders in life these days. We do not hear of people crossing the age of 60-70 years. Why is this? We need to conduct introspection. We need to change our lifestyle so that all of us actively contribute towards nation building. This NGO should continue to take the lead in creating awareness about Green Lifestyle,” he said.

According to Ananth Kumar, a “Green Lifestyle” was the need of the hour. “What is Green Lifestyle? We need to remain as close as possible to the nature. We should not disturb or harm the environment around us. We have just one Earth. We cannot afford to lose it. There are plenty of natural remedies for the diseases plaguing the masses. The latest diseases are in view of our changing diet and sedentary lifestyle habits. If we adopt a Green Lifestyle, we can lead a long and healthy life,” he asserted.

Former Chief Justice of Supreme M N Venkatachalaiah and local corporator P N Sadashiva were present on the occasion. The Udayabhanu Vaidya Ratna award was presented to Dr. Nagarathna Beli at the camp.
