The Conversation, the exclusive home décor boutique presents an exclusive Trunk Show of sarees and stoles at its Indiranagar boutique this weekend. This is the second edition of “Yarns and Yards” the boutique launched a few months back, to showcase personal accessories created by designers who work on reviving craft forms to keep traditions alive.
On display at the showcase are exclusive sarees by Nihira and Marm. Nandini and Rema of Nihira present unique hand-blocked designs on cottons and silks and Anoop Rai of Marm whose passion is to keep Chanderi weaves alive presents his limited edition of Chanderi cotton and silk sarees and stoles.
Both brands offer tradition for the festivities, and a collection that is elegant and rich, suitable for any occasion. This is in keeping with the brand’s focus on showcasing and retailing décor inspired by tradition, created for contemporary living. The brand is also focused on working with designers who work with artisans to keep art forms alive. Both Marm and Nihira are doing extensive on this aspect and our efforts to promote and market them at “Yarns and Yards” will benefit the artisan community, says Amit Sarin, Chief Curator of The Conversation.

Tucked away in one of the quieter areas of Indiranagar, is a new home décor boutique called The Conversation. The sense of Green pervades as you walk in – the first aspect you encounter is the beautiful nursery filled with plants, with interesting pieces of garden furniture, planters, and other lawn accessories in between, leading up to a home that has been elegantly converted to make an enchanting boutique. The Conversation lives up to its name – each product has a story to tell, is unique and rare: Inspired by a conversation that has its roots in tradition, each unique and rare.
